Get to Know Two Lanterns: Music with Meaning
About Two Lanterns
Music has always been a deep part of who I am. From childhood, I found magic in stories, turning them into poems, lyrics, scripts and songs that became like mini-movies unfolding in my mind. This creative journey was encouraged by my mother, who taught me to think outside the box, to feel life’s deeper truths, and to see things for what they could be.
A Love for Music and Truth
Writing, for me, is more than words—it’s a way to understand life and connect with others. There’s a special power in music that allows us to feel, to remember, and to imagine. My songs come from a place of honesty, expressing truths about the world and what I see happening in America today. I believe that if you hold the truth, you must share it. Not to convince, but to let others see it and find their own path.
Inspired by Heritage and History
Patriotism is in my blood. My father served in Vietnam, my grandfather in WWII, and another grandfather worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory where they created the atomic bomb. I learned early to honor these sacrifices, and I am deeply grateful for the freedoms they fought for. “Fight Till We Die” was written with this respect in mind—a reflection of my views, my truth.
The Name Two Lanterns
The name “Two Lanterns” symbolizes a reminder to stand up and defend what is right—not through violence but through awareness and unity. Just as Paul Revere’s lanterns signaled a call to action, I hope my music serves as a beacon to inspire, uplift, and encourage truth and strength. The Lord stands with us, and we all have a voice. Let’s use it.
Looking Forward
Two Lanterns is just beginning. While not every song will focus on patriotism, each one will hold purpose, honesty, and heart. I hope to create music that speaks to you, encourages you, and invites you to see the truth. Together, let’s celebrate freedom, courage, and the power of standing together.
